Today, I was seriously LACKING in the MOTIVATION department.
This means I opted NOT to take class this morning.
And I opted NOT to workout with Natalie, despite her request to do so.
Truth be told, I had to get myself in gear for our upcoming 5K at the club. One week until race day means I have to be sure all my ducks are in a row. So instead of sweating for an hour or so, I cranked some work out and that made me happy.
Still, I knew I had to do something to get my heart pumpin!
So I opted for this stay-at-home fitness workout. It was great. I did 5 repetitions and finished sweaty & tired! So I guess it means it was a success!
As of late, I have really struggled to find the motivation to get the cardio workouts in at the club. So this at-home alternative makes me feel good, like I worked hard and accomplished something.
I hate burpees. Have I mentioned that?
Later, I'll pick up the kids and we will enjoy a nice long walk on a beautiful fall day! :)
