I unplugged...and it felt great!

We just returned from an excellent vacation in BigFork, Minnesota. Somewhere in northern Minnesota. Somewhere cool. Somewhere fun. Somewhere r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g.

And guess what? I wasn't online, on the phone or on a computer at all, for that matter, the whole time. Instead, I played with the kids, went jumping on a water trampoline, took hikes with Connor and played games with the girls. Oh, and I read. Four books, truly.

A Windless Summer, Keeping Faith, A World Below and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Read all of them. Didn't exercise. At all. Didn't even worry about it. For once.

Loved every minute of this week. Needed it. Want to go back. Love the friends we traveled with and their kiddos. Who knew being with 6 kids could be so relaxing.

Isn't the mere thought of 6 kids and relaxing an oxymoron? :)

We had a ball. So glad we went.
