Where did that laundry come from? I just did laundry - oh wait, that was three days ago.
Why is the house so messy? I just cleaned it - oh wait, that was a week ago.
Why are the kids' rooms so disorganized? I just went through everything with them - oh wait, that wasn't today that I did that; it was about three weeks ago.
Days flow into nights flow into days flow into nights. I swear I do my best to keep the house in order. But you wouldn't know it by the looks of my house right now.

I MUST say this as my mantra: "I am not superwoman. I cannot do it all at all times. And this is okay. Things will fall through the cracks, but as long as my kids are healthy and happy, life is good."

Now with that said, I'm going to go outside and play with my kids. The mess can wait! :)

I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.
