Oh good God, me? The patient one?

So the creation below was put together with love (and a little bit of internal cursing) on Sunday morning. What? Sunday morning? Isn't that when we go to church? You may ask, and yes, typically, it is. But we had WORK to do - I mean, Halloween is THIS week and because my daughters wanted to make it and because, for some reason, my mom thought I would have more patience than she would, I HAD to make it on Sunday morning.

This sucker took us two hours, and it was coupled with snorts and giggles from my husband, who made no effort to camoflauge that he thought it was a bunch of BS that I would be able to make the entire thing without being myself...i.e. anal retentive about what goes where, and when, and how. You catch the drift.

Let's just put it this way - on more than one occasion, I caught myself saying something along the lines of, "Don't put it on that way. I'm trying to make my house (yes, I said MY house) look good..."

The girls were great. Connor? Well, he tried. And here is our masterpiece. Looks pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. Just don't touch it. This thing is made of foam and I swear if we LOOK at it the wrong way it's gonna fall to pieces.  :)

Oh yeah, and here is Connor - SCARY! Who needs a costume?

Ahhh, serenity...the view from our front door. I love fall.
