Well, the first day of school came and went...Abby, who was a little apprehensive about being in 4th grade because it meant she was upstairs at school instead of downstairs, came home happy about her day, her classes and being one of the "big" kids at St. Johns.
Keely, as usual, pretty easy to please, had a good day too, explaining that she is happy she doesn't have Mrs. Polsyn - not because she isn't nice - on the contrary, actually, but only because she is "strict."
Abby will start volleyball this week, both girls are taking piano, and Keely will enroll in fall soccer. :)
Connor's first day was a good one too - he was all smiles before we got to school, was proud to hold his backpack and show daddy his own playground. He met some nice kids in his class, and only showed signs of fear as Chris and I were leaving. But a short 3 hours later, he was all smiles when I picked him up, and his teacher said he did great! All in all, a great start to the year! :)
